If Connected Services are enabled, geolocation data is transmitted from your Vehicle to FCA, and in some cases, to third parties in order to enable certain Connected Services. If you use Connected Services, such as our mobile apps or in-vehicle apps, geolocation may also be collected through these apps. If you use the Wi-Fi® Hotspot Service, location data that is automatically generated when the Wi-Fi® Hotspot Service interacts with cell towers will also be collected. Some of the Connected Services are provided or supported by non-affiliated entities and service providers (“Third-Party Providers”), who may collect and receive personal information about you as part of their provision of the particular feature, service or application, or in order to respond to a request you make via the Connected Services (collectively “Third-Party Services”), including satellite radio and roadside assistance providers, and platform providers and app stores through which we make our Apps and certain features (such as Digital Key) available. For example, certain Vehicles include SiriusXM Guardian services, provided by SiriusXM Connected Vehicle Services Inc. (“Sirius XM”)—see the SiriusXM Guardian Privacy Policy located at https://www.siriusxmcvs.com/privacy-policy/ for more information about how SiriusXM uses your personal information.
FCA may collect information that is related to the performance of the Third-Party Services in your Vehicle and the ways you use these Third-Party Services. The Third-Party Providers that provide these Third-Party Services will collect and receive personal information from you related to the services they provide, subject to their own privacy policies for other purposes as stated in their own privacy policy. FCA is not responsible for these third parties’ collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information.
We may also receive certain Covered Data from FCA dealers (which are all independently owned and operated) who may provide us with data and records related to vehicle sales and transactions. Further, if you log in through or integrate a third-party account (such as Google or Amazon) with our Services, we access and obtain certain information from that third-party platform (subject the applicable terms of the third-party platform).

We have implemented a variety of safeguards which are intended to protect Covered Data from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed regardless of level of security. RIGHTS AND CHOICES
You may review and update much of the personal information that you have submitted by logging into your account and updating your profile information. Please note that we may maintain copies of information that you have updated, modified, or deleted, as permitted, in our business records and in the normal course of our business operations, as permitted or required by applicable law. You may also access Vehicle health reports and Vehicle location through your Connected Services account.
Disclosures of Covered Data. You can request that we do not share or sell your Covered Data with third parties by submitting a request here. Please note that this opt out does not apply to (i) disclosures to our agents and service providers that process this data to provide services to us; (ii) disclosures to others where necessary to provide the Connected Services, including the Wi-Fi® Hotspot Service, to you, to respond to your requests, or as otherwise directed by you; (iii) disclosures that are necessary to comply with our legal obligations or to protect or defend our rights; (iv) disclosures that are necessary to protect the security and integrity of the Connected Services, including the Wi-Fi® Hotspot Service, other FCA products and services, or the health or safety of others; or (v) disclosures of de-identified or aggregate data that do not identify you or your Vehicle, unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law.
Disabling Certain Services. You may opt out of certain features and services, such as Vehicle Health Reports, and notifications, by disabling them through your Connected Services account.
Geolocation Data. You can turn off geolocation data for mobile apps, through your mobile device’s privacy settings. In addition, certain Vehicles may enable you to turn on/off sharing of geolocation for certain features. However, please note that turning off geolocation will not stop the use of your Vehicle’s geolocation data entirely. Certain Connected Services that require geolocation data to function, such as the Wi-Fi® Hotspot Service, emergency and roadside services, vehicle finder, and navigation may continue to access and receive geolocation information. You can, however, turn off the transmission of Covered Data by your Vehicle by deactivating Connected Services, including the Wi-Fi® Hotspot Service, as applicable, as noted below.
Deactivate Connected Services and Stop Collection of Covered Data. Expiration or termination of your Connected Services subscription does not automatically stop all collection of Covered Data from your Vehicle. If you want to stop remote transmission and collection of Covered Data from your Vehicle, you must contact us as follows and request to “Cancel for Privacy Reasons:”
- SiriusXM Guardian Subscribers: call 844-796-4827 (toll free) and request to cancel for privacy reasons.
- Vehicle Connect Subscribers (including Jeep® Connect, Ram® Connect, Wagoneer® Connect, Alfa® Connect, Chrysler® Connect, and Dodge® Connect): call 800-777-3600 and request to cancel for privacy reasons.
If you cancel Connected Services for privacy reasons, wireless transmission network service will be deactivated for your Vehicle once your request has been processed, which means that: (i) remote transmission and collection of Covered Data from your Vehicle will be stopped; (ii) most Connected Services will not be available to you, including emergency and roadside services; and (iii) your Vehicle may no longer receive updates to your in-vehicle manual or other over-the-air updates. Certain in-vehicle safety, diagnostic and other systems may continue to generate and store performance, safety and diagnostic information, which may be accessed by independent dealers and others who service your Vehicle and shared with FCA and others for performance, safety, warranty and related purposes.
Canceling Third-Party Subscriptions. Your Vehicle may include a free trial for and access to certain third-party subscription-based services, including SiriusXM Radio or AT&T In Car Wi-FiSM (depending on your Vehicle). If you subscribe to these Third-Party Services at the end of your free trial, you must contact these third parties directly if you would like to subsequently cancel your third-party subscription.
Submitting Privacy Requests. Residents of certain states may have specific privacy rights under applicable privacy laws, as further described in our Privacy Policy. You may submit a privacy request, including to access, correct, or delete personal information, to opt out of targeting and sales, and to limit or object to certain uses and disclosures of your personal information, including Covered Data by:
- Submitting an online request through our privacy portal
- Contacting us at 800-777-3600 (toll free)
California Privacy Rights. If you are a California resident, please review our California Privacy Supplement for additional information about your California privacy rights, including your rights to opt out of sales and sharing of your personal information and to limit certain uses and disclosures of your sensitive personal information.
